How long does a vinyl fence last?
A quality vinyl fence lasts for decades, and our fences carry a 20-year factory warranty.
Is a vinyl fence the same as a plastic fence?
Yes, vinyl is PVC, and people often call it a plastic fence. But it isn't ordinary plastic: our fence is made of 100% virgin PVC with UV stabilizers and titanium dioxide, so it doesn't yellow in the sun and withstands impacts in frost.
Does it turn yellow in the sun?
UV stabilizers are built into the material. In SGS lab testing, 1,000 hours of UV exposure left a color change the eye can't see (ΔE 0.7).
How does it handle winter frost?
The material was impact-tested after 24 hours at −30°C (ASTM D4226). It holds its shape in summer heat too, under load up to 69°C.
How does it handle wind?
Posts are set in concrete, boards interlock, and the bottom rail has aluminum reinforcement, so the fence stands firm.
How do I take care of it?
Rinse it with water now and then, with mild soap if needed. It never needs paint or varnish.
Can it go on a sloped plot?
Yes, on slopes the fence is installed in steps. We'll tell you the best approach when we measure.
Can I buy just the materials?
Yes. Buy only the materials or add installation, and the calculator shows both prices separately.
